Who’s behind Parent2Parents
A finder, a resource hub, and an app — made by a homeschooling family.
Parent2Parents is a homeschool co-op finder and resource hub. It began with a simple frustration: homeschool co-ops are genuinely hard to find. Most don’t advertise, don’t rank on Google, and grow entirely by word of mouth — which works beautifully right up until you’re new to an area and don’t know anyone yet.
We’re a homeschooling family in Missouri, publishing under Ahlchemy Author Company. We built this because we wanted it to exist for our own family, and it turned out to be the kind of thing worth sharing. The directory is free to browse and free to list a co-op on. There’s also an app, for co-ops that want one, that handles the parts of running a group that eat a Sunday evening: the schedule, class sign-ups, and the reminder texts nobody enjoys sending by hand.
What we actually do
Three things, really. First, the finder — a map of co-ops you can search by area, meeting day, cost, and whether a group is faith-based or secular. Second, the reference material: the current Missouri homeschool law, the record-keeping requirements, and links to the statutes themselves, written in plain English. Third, the app, which a host can set up for their co-op in an afternoon.
How the directory is built
Some listings are added by the co-ops themselves. Others are community listings, compiled from details each group already publishes publicly and clearly marked as such — those are pinned to the town rather than a street address, and any co-op can claim or remove its own listing at any time, no questions asked. We don’t vet or endorse the co-ops listed; a listing is a starting point, not a recommendation. Please visit and ask your own questions before taking part.
Where we stand
We’re not a company selling curriculum, and we’re not trying to be a social network. The reference material aims to be accurate and current rather than to push a view — where the law is concerned we link to the state and the statutes so you can read the actual words. Some pages carry affiliate links, including Amazon, from which we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you; where that’s the case, we say so on the page.
